COVER STORY

16620012.JPG

Hi! I’m Troy.

Within the month of PRIDE and the year of change, Troy was chosen as the cover mogul of our Makeup Who You Are cover campaign. Not only is Troy an incredible makeup artist, but a beyond talented illustrator and designer. While working on this cover story, we got to play with fun makeup looks, lay in the grass and chat about all things LGBTQ+. We had such a blast getting to know them on a deeper level and developing a deeper understanding of what expression means to them in the form of using makeup products and the face as a canvas. Feeling confident in your own skin is key and Troy allowed us to enter a space where using makeup was similar to their paintings. This shoot allowed for full self expression in more ways than one. We had such a blast working with Troy and are very excited to share the full coverage of the story in our first issue.

Sam Koch, better known as KOCH is a 21 year old DJ living in New York City kick starting his nightlife career.

“I think just like knowing everything in life happens for a reason and that patience is a virtue. There were times where I dealt with some issues and I for some reason have always remembered something P Diddy once said, something along the lines of how you can’t wait for your moment to come, or wonder when is it going to happen for you. But to always be ready for when that moment happens for you. Because it will, but you’ve just got to believe that it will.”
